Devilwood (Osmanthus americanus), also known as American Olive, is an evergreen shrub native to the southeastern United States. It features leathery leaves and fragrant, small white flowers in spring. Ideal for hedges and screens, it thrives in partial to full sun and well-drained soil. Maturing to 15-20 feet in height and 10-15 feet in spread, it's hardy in USDA zones 7-9. Provides habitat for wildlife and requires minimal maintenance.
