Parry's Beargrass (Nolina parryi) is a drought-tolerant perennial, native to Southwestern US deserts. It forms a dense rosette with long, slender blue-green leaves reaching up to 4 ft in length. A slow grower, it can eventually develop a thick, branching trunk up to 3 ft high. In late spring to early summer, it produces spectacular cream-colored flower stalks, towering up to 5-8 ft.
