Carex rosea, commonly known as Rosy Sedge, thrives in USDA zones 4-8, preferring dappled sunlight to partial shade. This perennial grass-like plant forms dense clumps approximately 1-2 feet in height and spreads about the same width. Minute, rosy-tinged flowers bloom in late spring to early summer.
